about the event:
Defending our people and our planet requires leadership at every level of government to protect policies that enshrine clean water, air, and ultimately healthy communities for all. Without collaboration across the local, state, and federal levels that centers equal protection from environmental harms for everyone, marginalized communities will continue to shoulder the worst of environmental policy setbacks. When elected officials strategize and unite they have the power to address these disparities and defend all of our communities.
Green 2.0, Next 100 Coalition, and Chesapeake Climate Action Network hosted an event with elected officials on how they are addressing environmental policy challenges by creating solutions that protect progress and people.
