Despite progress, research shows that the wage gap persists with women and people of color often earning less than their peers. Green 2.0 created the Pay Equity Pledge to address this gap and to increase awareness of pay equity for staff specifically in the environmental sector. Throughout a person’s career pay inequities only compound if not addressed by the organization. The best way to prevent these inequities is keeping up with best practices and being ahead of the curve.
