Environmental Interns & Fellows Reception
Networking event for fellows and interns in the environmental sector.
As the next generation of environmental leaders, interns and fellows play a crucial role in shaping the future of the environmental sector and climate action. Building spaces where they can connect with each other is essential to building a movement. With the support of the sector, interns and fellows can break barriers, challenge the status quo, and create a more inclusive environmental movement for all. We invite you to join Green 2.0, GreenLatinos, and Hip Hop Caucus for a networking event to celebrate and connect the power of young people in the environmental sector.
Only interns and fellows are invited to this event. People of all backgrounds are invited to attend the event. This event is 18+. There will be food and beverages provided.
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED TO ATTEND.

How Can the Environmental Sector Retain Gen-Z Talent?
Retaining the next generation of environmental leaders requires workplaces where young people can build sustainable careers and make contributions toward progress. Many Gen Z employees enter the sector eager to make an impact, but can encounter challenges that lead them to leave. Understanding these experiences is essential to building an environmental sector where emerging talent can thrive and grow into future leadership.
Join Green 2.0 for a conversation with Gen Z environmental workforce employees as they reflect on why young people might leave environmental organizations or the environmental sector and discuss the policies and practices that can improve retention and ensure that young people can build meaningful long-term careers in the environmental sector.
